This past Sunday, Echoes of the Wild hosted the very first edition of Kasi Tiny Desk - a platform created to give local professional DJs the chance to perform live in front of a community audience, while also giving underground talent a space to showcase their skills, connect, and network with people in the industry.
This week's edition featured the talented Kutlo Scope, Dragie, KingDesto, Raul Bryan, DJ Pex and Qin Diaz.
The surprise act of the night was definitely Son of Simeon and DJ Stucha. These two gentlemen met on the decks and decided - why not go back-to-back? No rehearsals, no prior sets together, just pure instinct, passion, and energy. And wow, they absolutely killed it!
Our Kasi Tiny Desk sessions are filmed in local communities to help grow talent from within the community, while creating a platform for underground artists and local creatives to network, support one another, and build the culture together.
